We purchased a new 2017 Viking vi se eps a couple of months ago. After a recent ride, I'm questioning if it is the right ride for us. It replaced 2 07 Polaris sportsman 800's with rear cargo seats bolted on. Family of 4(me, wife, 11 and 7 year old). 5 acres at the house with goats and chickens, 320 acres of family farmland, 45 more acres of hunting land. We usually go to Colorado for about a week during the summer and try to make a another short trip to SE OK/western Ark per year. We recently rode some trails near Cass/Mulberry mountain/Byrd adventure park. Ground clearance was a real struggle. It just wasn't fun. I'm not sure if adding the one inch spacer to suspension and upgrading to 27 inch tires and wheels with bead saver will give me what I want. We really love riding around Pitkin and st Elmo, as well as Creede area in CO. Has anyone used a Viking vi in these areas and been satisfied. I might be asking too much out of utility machine.
