Hello everyone,
I'm very new to this "forum deal" but obviously you guys are an absolute wealth of knowledge. So, here's my problem/problems. I bought a 2014 Viking from a friend. Bought it cheap because he swamped it in a pond, couldn't get it running and let it sit for a couple years. When I got it home I drained everything, blew it out with air. Put gas in it. No power... The mail fuse was blown. Replaced it, as soon as I turned the key on, it blew again. I then used a jumper wire. Started right up, ran a few minutes (the jumper wire got pretty hot) and "eps" light was on also. A few minutes later the temperature light came on and it started running really rough then died. I pulled the plug and it was wet (with water, not gas) I then turned it over with the plug removed and it blew a bunch of water out. Put the plug back in and had the exact same results as before. Drained radiator and removed hose from water pump inlet. No more water in engine. So I'm pretty sure it's at least a head gasket. But what really perplexes me is the electrical issues. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There's probably much more than this, but for starters, how about water in the gas? Did you drain the tank? If you ran water in that engine, it doesn't compress like fuel so something really bad could? have happened. Re the overheating, was the electric to the fan was not running? It is probably thermostatically controlled. I'd look into getting a new relays, solenoids,boxes, etc. Your wiring is probably fine, but something is screwed up where the wiring goes to relays, solenoids, etc. Don't take any of this for gospel, just thinking out loud...

Yes sir, I drained ALL fluids, including gas. Put fresh gas in and still got water in the cylinder. I unhooked inlet to the water pump, no more water in the cylinder. And the fan was running correctly when it got hot on me. Thank you very much for your response!
