I had my Viking vi out for its first long run since I purchased it. There are a couple things that I notice. One being that when it shows the fuel light blinking, it only takes 6 gallons to fill it. The other is after about 35kms my nice quiet ride, started squeaking badly. I never had it in mud and the trail was dry. It squeaks so loudly that you can hear it at any speed. Anyone else have a squeaky Viking?

Fuel...yes. I've had mine down to 1/4 or less and it only take about five gallons. I've never had it down to the blinking fuel light.

Squeaking, negative. I've had my brakes squeak a little but not the suspension.

My brothers RZR squeaks a crap ton though and he just bought it. Even on the first ride it squeaked like it was getting....well, beat pretty good.

I documented the process of elimating break squeak in a post along with step by step directions and pictures.

Is the noise coming from the brakes? If so, unfortunately it's pretty common. If it's coming from somewhere else, be sure that your bed latches are secure on BOTH sides. Mine started squeeking like crazy one time and I found that one of the bed latches was not fully engaged. Good luck!

It's the brakes, if I ride the brakes while driving the noise is gone. It went from quiet to squeaking, and I never even used the brakes. Also it loves gas.

Here is the Google search for the post:

Ending Brake Squeak

Some people think that, oh, lets's say horns for example, are more important the the never ending squeaking of one's brakes.

My bed also started squeaking really bad one time and turned out to be not latched very well.

I've had my fuel light blinking on empty and driven for about 30 minutes after that to still only put in 7gal. Have tried to find the bottom of my tank twice with no luck yet. And I too have had a bed rubber come off my tray(found it) Cheers

Ditto on gas gauge ,it reads way low. My brakes squeaked too and it used to drive me nuts! Some where along the way the squeaking quit. I think it's the parking brake. I've noticed my parking brake lever has good bit more free play now than when new, maybe that's why no more squeak.
