How did he break his axle? I broke my drivers side front awhile back. Was in diff lock going in reverse but was not stuck, was actually in water testing out my snorkels.

I broke it in reverse with diff lock in. I was in some deep sticky mud as well!! I also have 2" HL lift & was trying out 31" outlaws!!... While waiting on my 30"silverback Xlites to be delivered!! It's definitely more my fault than the Vikings. I ended up ordering one from my dealer for now. I hope to upgrade as soon one of the better known companies decide to make some.

Did you have any issues with the torque limiter on the front drive shaft. Mine slipped an I still haven't broke an axle with 30 interforce tires. Mine slipped in reverse.

Funny seems like everyone breaks the front right mine just went on me

Sounds to me like before I head out on a ride some where I might ought to order me an extra one just in case so I have one for back up.

From what I've been reading, sounds like most of the broken axles are on the Viking's with a lift kit

Lift kit first time out to the same places that I have been many times and never had an issue prior not sure when it happened I was in a mud hole for a while tires were lockex to the left from the thickness pretty sure this is when it happened I was in diff lock

Cobra axles has the HD front and rears in stock now they also have medium dutys in stock
