Beer, Guns, and Viking's

All the other forums that I'm part of.....we have this this thread (guns and beer, not viking)...most of the time they're individual threads for each subject but I figured, why not combine them? These three ingredients go well together.

What beer do you like?

What guns do you like? Which ones do you prefer to shot the most? Do you like guns that go pew or pew pew, or pew, pew,pew,pew, etc?

Now, I'm assuming most of us are married...speaking for my self, but that hasn't really held me back from admiring a nice set of racks....post those pic's up!!!

Myself....
I like micro brewed beer. We have a lot of small breweries here in town with awesome IPA"s and such. Trail beer.....I normally pick up my 30 pack of Coors Light

Guns....I enjoy the 80% lowers....they're fun to build and educational. I also enjoy shooting my Glock 19 at the range and shooting some clays up in the hills with the 'ol Mossberg. Another rifle I've become quite attached to is my Mossberg 17 HMR.....tack driver I tell you.

Viking....well, it helps me enjoy thee other two, lol.

Trail beer...yuengling light hopefully I spelled that right.

My favorite is made by Back Fourty in fairhope, AL. It's called rebellion red 12% alcohol.

Favorite gun hell any just gimme a beer and some ammunition and let's let the shells fly.

Don't know if you've ever fold with it or not but down here we have some stuff called tanner nite and if you shoot it with a high caliber sit back and watch the fireworks.

We have it here as well.

Here's a vid I took of a two inch, laminated piece of bullet resistant glass being blown about 15ft up and about 20 feet away from its original spot.....one bottle of tanner nite and one .223, lol

The video didn't load ... damnit.

I have one of a friend that loaded a dryer full of it and the only thing left pretty much was the lid that was probably 60 feet away ... love that stuff.

Beer? Don't typically drink it.. I'm more of a Vodka or Gin guy.

Guns? My Favorite?? Jeez.. .that's a tough question.

The AR is a hoot;

Favorite deer/elk gun; Austrian Voere Mauser in 30-06

Best/favorite varmit gun; Rem 700 in 22-250. Now has a Redfield 3-9 mounted;

Favorite plinker? the Winchester 94 in .22 mag is a tack driver, the Browning 22 lever is just too beautiful to shoot..(foreground)

But the long arm I shoot the most? Ruger 10-22.

While on the Viking, I rotate between 4 of my favorite carry pieces; Kimber Ultra CDP

The Sig P229 in .357 sig;

The Sig P938 (9mm)

or the Smith PD360. Sucker weighs 11.5 oz empty. Yea... it hurts when you pull the trigger, but it's SO easy to carry..

Of course, I no longer have any of the above firearms. :p
Sold 'em all along with the ammo.
I did keep my 12 guage though.. gotta make sure an intruder has a proper welcome. :cool: Besides...Obummer and Biden seem to like shotguns...
