Ok everyone i just purchased a 2015 viking (pick it up next weekend). I am going to want a windshield for it so let's hear your opinions on which one is the best one and if you have one lets hear some pros and cons. I have looked at the super atv one but am curious if it would stay folded open when riding in rough terrain

Thanks I have looked at it my question is does it stay folded up like that when traveling through rough terrain? Or does it bounce closed and open?

I know others on the other Viking site, that have it, and love it, and i would assume, that with the heavy duty shocks on it, that it wouldnt move while driving around.

I had the Yamaha full fold down shield and the Yamaha wind deflecter. Deflected let to much air in and the full not enough and everyone got cover in dust. Sold them both and went with a true half windshield from utv windshields and accessories.com. Matter a fact I just ordered one for my 2015 Commander Max!

I have this windshield from super atv, Mine stays open while riding rough terrain. Very pleased with this windshield! I'm sure you will love it.

Thanks for the replies I ordered the one from super atv should be here this weekend just in time for when I pick my viking up on Saturday any other must have accessories that you would reccomend for it right of way?

Those of you that have the Super ATV Flip Shield, can you run at full throttle with the top shield up or will it slam shut or vibrate severely. I'm very interested in this windshield, but I mostly cruise county backroads at high speeds and if it won't ride in the open position I will keep my half shield. Would also like to know how tall the bottom shield is measuring from the bottom of the roll bar where it bolts together. I'm running the EMP half shield now, but wish it was a few inches taller. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I had the flip up from superatv and sent it back. Its a great concept but bad design. If the bottom half was shorter and the top longer it would work excellent but when u have it closed the part where it meets is in your line of sight and its hard to drive and blurry
