So i purchased a used 2015 viking vi eps. Got it from a tractor business that sells side x sides as well. It did not cone with a title in texas. I got a clean bill of sale and paid a online service to run vin through national database, as well as a auto title recovery business to run the vin in Texas and Lousianna. I spoke with person who runs regional auto theft task force wich it is required to let them check it out in person before bonded title can be issued. He told me that even though. I ran vin that even if serial numbers from engine, transfer cases, or any part does not match the vin it would be seized even if part was pulled from a used side x side and couldnt be identafied. I found a serial number plate on rear final drive case but not on the engine or the front transfer case. Can anyone guide me where to locate the engine and dif serial number on the bike.
