Anyone ever have a hard time to put the hood on and get those cheap latches to close on the 2015 Viking?! I can get the left side to close but the right won't and I'm scared to break those cheap things that are on there.

I sprayed mine with a little silicone and they work much better

If you push down on the hood, then turn the latch, you won't feel any resistance.....

I always apply a little bit of pressure and mine turn smooth and latch properly.

When I picked mine up at the dealer I took the hood off to take a look and no one could get it back on. The service tech tried new latches then a new hood assembly off of another machine and finally ended up shaving some plastic off of the underside of the body where the latch catches with an exacto knife. Works fine now
