I have 2014 Viking Engine seized but took my little cover off where magneto is,I could turn it back a bit but only a little travel and jams up. With some scratching sound. Just wondering if it could be that final drive problem. I just had to rebuild 300 km ago connecting rod bearing.
6000 km when con. Rod bearing went. Dealer said it was lack of maintenance. No warranty or help from the dealer. So Did it myself during COVID brake last year I do some mechanics but can be little challenging, not much room in that base. Any input would be nice right now.

Ended up taking head and cylinder off. Piston seized. Lost a lot oil . Oil wasn’t marking on dip stick. Noticed that cylinder I had ordered had a breather nipple where timing chain goes through cylinder. Witch my original cylinder didn’t have it.
Cylinder fits and worked but obviously cylinder is for another type Yamaha cause I didn’t have that nipple on my old one. Like in picture
