Fuseblock Installation
Anyone install a Fuzeblock or any such device on their Viking? If so, where? What did you use for a trigger wire source?
I have installed one at the top of the battery box, but I'm not happy about it. I'm concerned it will get wet if I do any water crossings. I used the 12v plug power for my trigger wire. I wish I knew of a trigger source that was only hot once the Viking was started. That way, any device hooked to the block would not be powered until the machine was started. That would give me all available power to start the machine in cold weather starts.
I think I will make a lexan enclosure device to protect the Fuzeblock, or find a better install location. I will attach pics of my setup shortly.
