Future Vikings

Its either got to be something sporty with a V-twin, or maybe a 50" with the same 700.

I would put my money on it being a 50" version on the viking with the same engine, and probably a better suspension. It would be nice to see them come out with more power like punch the 700 out to a 750 or just a bigger engine in general. I am a huge Yamaha fan, personally I would love to see a 50" SxS that would smoke the RZR up one side and down the other, and beat the Arctic Cat when it comes to price. Something in the 8 to $10,000 range.

Picture six adults and the weight of any accessories (bumpers, winch etc) and something of weight in the bed. The 700 has to be underpowered in those conditions. That long wheel base with the same frame to ground height and you are going to hit and hang up frequently off road. Tough choices if you need the room.....

I purchased the Vl a couple months back. I have been pleasantly surprised by the power, only being the 700. I have put over 500 miles on it all in mountain country, 2-tracks and trails. With my family 4-kids 10 years and under plus tools and a large cooler, I have not missed the extra CC's. I have ridden with friends one driving the RZR 800 and the Vl actually has a higher top speed.
I'm wanting to add the power commander to see what that adds but has a decent ride and gotta love the room!!
