Hey guys came across this site thought i would join since i decided to go ahead with a viking i have been having a hard time deciding if i wanted to try one since the viking is still a 700. Will let you all know what i think i will compare it with my 09 rhino 700 sport for the next few months. I still like the rhino enough i decided to keep it for now and see how they compare working around the farm and when want to go out and play.

Congratulations! I picked my black viking up last night... Introduced it to some WNY mud after work today... I ordered a windshield and put a heavy rubber mat in the box... I think that the rubber mat helped with the noise a little... I am considering a Hushpower muffler...

Personally, i would have ditched the mud flaps when i got home with it, thats just my opinion. Just not sporty looking.

You'll be into it for way less than you have in the windshield...it DOES quiet it down. Combine that with the soundproofing materials I used and you will no longer consider your Viking to be loud.

Maybe do both I lined the inside of my rhino bed and it seemed to quiet down the bed rattling made it seem a lot tighter. not sure if it really quieted down engine noise but the engines are farther forward on them.

I took my Viking and had it the bed sprayed, just on the inside, didn't take off the side plastic's and have that done, just the inside of the bed. It may have helped some, but didn't really notice alot of difference. Ive also got a Cabela's UTV bed mat in it, that i used to have in my Ranger.
