What is the easiest way to get grease into the rear wheel grease fittings? Hard to get a gun on the two lower fittings and when I do, they don't seem to take the grease, is their something I'm over looking?

I have had the same issues with the rear grease fittings. They are improved in my "18 Viking over what I had in my previous '16 Wolverine, but still.....I think Yamaha could make some improvements in this area. I used a "side" fitting on a flexible hose on my grease gun, but still had a real hard time getting the fitting on the zerks. I never did get the lower zerk on the passenger side to take any grease. In the owner's manual it lists points to lube on the steering shaft U-joints; mine are sealed so the manual is not correct on this point.

Change Zerks: 6M x 1mm x 45 degrees

Just got thru doing this exact thing. Works perfect.
