So I stopped over at BigBoy's house this afternoon, and was rigging and wiring all kinds of lights, switches, fuse blocks, etc. we have been talking about the reverse lights for some time. I've been bouncing around some ideas that are a little different and thought I would see what others had done also. My first thought was to somehow put flush mounts in the tailgate. As cool as it would look, the tailgate is molded and the way it is molded just doesn't give enough depth. Next idea was the opening aft of the differential. I had some leftover diamond plate from making my heat shield, so I cut something out to fit that opening. Has anybody come up with anything else???

It is very pretty. Don't know about airflow but that that would make it harder to get the mud out with a hose.

I'd hit that plate with a hole saw in a few places to allow air to flow through it. Just my $.02
Already there. Just need a flush mount light to finish it up.
