Just got a hushpower

Hello all. New to the forum here. I just bought a Hushpower for my Viking. The one I bought is for the Bombardier outlander 400. The problem is that the inlet is on the right side. Would it hurt anything if I ran a pipe over from the muffler to the inlet? It would be as long as the Hushpower is wide. Thanks in advance for the help.

Good luck to ya, personally, i got the direct bolt on Silent Rider silencer, so i cant help ya.
Alrighty. Just didn't know of it would effect anything performance wise by running that long of a pipe. Thanks.
The additional pipe aint gunna hurt performance a bit
i have the same thing. going tomorow to get it installed. im having them turn the muffler around, cut the inlet off, weld that hole shut and remount the inlet coming out of the endcap. member mass-n-trash did the same thing. as long as you keep the inlet on the same side as it is now you can move it wherever.ill also be removing the hangers and having them reinstalled in a different location
if you havnt done it yet i can post pics when its done if you would like
That's be awesome. I've just been trying to figure out how I was gonna mount it. Gonna get some rubber grommets for sure though. Are going to have it connected with a hard pipe? Or flex pipe? Also, are you gonna have an adapter put on? Or run the same size pipe as the factory outlet into the hushpower?
it wont let me upload pics. keeps saying the file is too large. anyway i removed the hangers on the hushpower then turned it around so the exaust tip and hushpower inlet were on the same side, then connected with the same size hard pipe thats coming out of the inlet of the hushpower. then had the bottom of huspower facing outward instead of down.they cut off the exaust tip on the factory muffler and welded the new pipe in its place and bent it to fit to the inlet of the hushpower
Awesome. Couple questions. Where did you get your LED headlights? And did they mount it with any rubber grommets?
sorry. i need to change my signature. theyr not led theyr HID xenon. they were only $20 on amazon. they are alot better than factory though. search under yamaha grizzly headlights. they do have LED too but theyr $100. and as for the mount yes they did use rubber bushing J hook hangers.( i got those from ebay for $15 )

Found the bulbs. Do you not have to have the conversion kit with those?
not for the hid/ xenon bulbs. they plug right in
Viking2k14.. I hope you got better luck out of the Silent Rider (Benz) than I did.. Personally i thought it was a wasted of MONEY!!!!!!!!
