Any of you guys know if the rear window will work with the SSV works overhead radio and the top? From what I see it attaches to the bar but the radio also clamps there as does the top. I ordered one on the chance I can make it work but not sure.

Yep, no problems at all, ive got the top, Yamaha/SSV works overhead stereo, and Yamaha rear window, they all work together great. Where the rear window attaches around the roll bar on top, is over the Drivers head, and the farthest Passenger seat, so it doesn't go where the Overhead stereo attaches on it the roll bar. So, no problems. Yamaha does a great job making there accessories work with each other.

One question for you, why do you think Yamaha, and their aftermarket accessories people chose to 1. Not have the windshield come up behind the top to actually keep water out. 2. Not have the rear window come up to where it actually seals the back off from incoming dust. It will definitely keep some of the dust out, but it's almost open at the top like the windshield which baffles me. Just two things that really make no sense to me.

Great questions

#1 Its pretty common for the windshields not to go all the way up, my UTV Headquaters Vented windshield doesn't go all the way up either, im gonna guess its to allow air flow maybe, to reduce Dust vacuum maybe??

#2 I completely agree on the Rear Window not going all the way up sealing off to the roof. We actually ordered some material on eBay that is the same stuff the Yamaha rear window is make of, and cut it and attached it to under the roof and right above the clear part of the window. Now its all sealed off, cause i worried about the same exact thing, dust come upt between the rear window and roof, with that big gap there. We attached that piece with Industrial strengh velcro, and used some Loctite spray adhesive to get the velcro to stick better to the material.

so now you have had a chance to use it... does the rear windshield help enough with dust? Do you think you really needed to seal off the top? And... does it make it any quieter? I just got my factory fold down windshield installed and I'm real happy so far. Yes there is dust but a lot less wind in the face! I have the sound proof kit but it could still stand to be a bit quieter!

Rear window helps keep the dust down alot, you can but you don't need to seal it off at the top, and install the window before you install the sound dampening kit, you'll have to cut some holes in it for the zip ties for the dampening kit

The rear window does help in keeping down the dust and the gap at the top of the front window lets some air in so you have "positive" air pressure in the cab. Without that positive pressure you woiuld get more dust sucked in through the sides via the vortex that's created. I agree that it would help if that rear window fit better.
