You are right, I don't own one. I am still a Yamaha fan deep down, it was strictly commentary on Yamaha not producing what the market wants. Look guys, I hope you are happy with what you got but the facts are the Viking isn't selling anywhere near what other brands are. For the record I wasn't pissed, the thread was Disappointed Yamaha Owner, what I'm pissed about is the mod deleting a forum that was critical of Yamaha. The Big Ol Turd thing was a joke. Yami has some great engineering but they lack vision in my opinion. At least they are made in the States which is the reason I'm going Kawi instead of Polaris or Can-Am. If you don't want to see criticism fine its your forum. But the next time you are riding around in your Viking I want you to remember the movie RV with Robin Williams. They sing that song, Big Ol Rolling Turd coming thru, coming thru. Smile, you know you wont be able help yourself from singing it. LOL

It might be a rolling turd but it will be rolling and not broke down at the dealer for repairs. As fas as going with the kawi for a sport SxS now that's a Funny one. Not knocking the kawi but there are much better choices for a sport SxS than that! I could see a rzr 1000 or Can am but a kawi? Please be real! I Don't see the kawis selling like hot cakes. Kind of like wanting a Muscle car say corvette or challenger and picking up a chic Mustang with a v6 and thinking its Cool! Good luck!

Never said I wanted a pure sport SXS and Kawi isn't claiming to be one its a middle of the road sport utility. And a v6 mustang beats the heck out of a mini-van viking. Where do you get that Kawis are sitting at the dealer broke down? Ive read every review I can find and the only problems Ive seen is a belt issue that seems to be straightened out.

Move along already. Im sorry Yamaha didn't make what you wanted, Ive had nothing but Yamahas over the eyars, and they've never let me down yet. The Viking suits my needs just fine, its fast enough, hauls around my 2 nieces just fine, I dont have any rocks or hills to climb, i dont drag race anybody, etc etc. It goes 51mph, which is plenty fast.

What you are kinda saying here is that Yamaha did not produce what YOU wanted. I have gone through MANY quads, but have never owned a SxS before. So...I looked at, and drove, just about every option out there. Did not like the Pioneer due to lack of power, but if you want a universal machine that can also carry 4 people...perfect! Never owned one but ride with several Folks that have Polaris'. Those too are pretty nice machines, but our group as a whole has found that they were no where near as reliable. Some of the others were actually too sporty and not enough utility "for me." Not saying any of them are turds...just not a good fit "for me." If Yamaha would have come out with a sporty RZR killer...that would not have been a good fit "for me" as well.

So...I would recommend that you go get yourself a KAWI, because it sounds like it's a better fit "for you." However, when I pass you on the mountain with my elk in the back, and my two hunting partners in the front, I will simply wave and wish you a nice day. I will do that even though your KAWI would be an utter waist of money "to me."

It doesn't need to be 10 pages, the guy came on here to express his disappointment with Yamaha, and the Viking, calling it a turd, etc. Then said he was going with a Kawi, so that's what he should do, and move over to a Kawi site, where he can express his views freely, and im sure alot of the Kawi folks, will agree with him..BECAUSE, he'll be on a non VIKING site.
