I have the SSV 2 speaker stereo in my viking and its plenty loud inside but wondering if anyone has put 2 wakeboard type speakers on also. Im interested in doing so. Will they work with that type stereo?

Haven't seen anybody add any speakers to it, other than the 2 extra ones that Yamaha sells, there's some members on another forum, that have added them, and really like it.

yes they work great im running a pair of 6.5 inch krypt wake board speakers and I tied them into a 400 watt pyle marine amp I ordered from best buy that runs off the radio and im adding to more speakers in a couple of weeks, its plenty loud , and the sound carries well.

I mounted the amp in the glove box and it has a separate I pod plug for it and a gain control on it too. It can be plugged into a radio to , now the video is with the speakers directly to a radio with out amp
