When we ran Kawasaki Teryx's the one way valve was know to suck dust/dirt untill it wouldn't run due to the filter sock on the fuel pump was completely pluged.
I haven't heard of any Vikings as of yet and didn't want to be the first. The is a very cheap mod for piece of mind in the sticks.

Can you confirm what this does & where it goes?
On the other thread I mentioned I purchased one but I was referring to the sock filter at the filler.

This appears to be a vent line off the gas tank that has a one way valve in it to allow air in for vacuum purposes but not allow fumes / gas out correct?

And you are adding a cheap filter to filter the air going in?

Yes add a universal filter to the check valve , otherwise it will suck dirt and dust in the tank and plug your fuel filter on the pump.

Thanks for the clarification.
We put 27 miles on it yesterday. Half of Which were very hard.

Needless to say, we broke it in good and very very impressed.
