Googling the location of these two came up with nothing so I thought I'd snap a pic while I was checking them. The single connector switch in front of the starter is the reverse (neutral) switch. The 3 prong connector leads to the gear selector switch on the side of the case, which is held on by two 10 mm bolts. You have to remove the middle seat and plastic panel behind it. You then have to remove the snorkel attached to the throttle body and the air box silencer attached to it. The Yamaha parts manual refers to both switches as 'Neutral Switch Assembly', where the gear position switch is obviously mislabeled.
