So I got in my Viking yesterday and the gas gauge was blinking but I have a full tank of fuel. Then I noticed that my voltage had got up to almost 15 volts. Why would it do this and will it hurt anything?

I looked in the manual and it says there is a problem in an electrical system if it blinks like that. Any idea what it could be?
