Well this past sunday went riding at Carter's off-road park and someone told me i couldnt make it through a hole. Dont tell me I cant do something lol so naturally i went. The right side was under water and mud. Mud and water went up the vent line for the tank and past the rollover valve and straight into the tank so Ive gotta take the tank off today and clean it out so for anybody that rides deep be sure to extend the vent line up. On a postive note I MADE IT even with it backfiring and missing lol next project is snorkels and vent line

Do you think the universal fuel filter in the vent line trick would've worked?

Honestly I have no clue but after this weekend I won't have to worry about it

The fuel filter works to keep dirt and dust out, water could still enter.

I put that filter on mine a week ago, took that short section of hose off and to clean it before I put the filter on it, and oh my, you should have seen the crud that came out of it, wish I'd have found out about this little trick a long time ago, I would have had the filter on it from day one

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S5....and a lenght of string

When i first bought my V-6 I posted up a tread with pics on here for this mod. Coming from a T-4 with the same fuel system set up i also had to install a universal filter.
