Was.wanting to know if the green wire on the 12v plug is the correct wire to use to splice into for a winch

On mine it's the white wire. Check it with a test light with the key on.

yeah for one of the few times I followed the directions that came with the mount and it said green wire. Thankfully i stopped before i cut into I had a lil help from uncle jim beam lol. but got the winch and plow hooked up now. also i went with the same winch as you the terra 45 how do u like yours

This is my second Terra.I won't pay for a over priced Warn anymore. I've had very good luck with the super winches.
