Does the yamaha 3500 lb warn comes with any thing special different from the generic 3500 lb warn you would but on-line. Product Automotive lighting Camera accessory Font Gadget

I was wondering were every one is putting the contactor and the dash plug for the control.
Do you have any photos of the install.
Thanks Rapidrobert...

Its kinda hard to tell, but you can see it, the plug is in the black area between the top of the door and under red area.

I will have to take a pic of mine. I got the Viper with the wireless remote. The contactors I placed on top of the glove compartment box and inside the battery vicinity. I ordered the optional dash switch and installed it to the left of the steering column on the dash. Hope the contactor location helps you.

For EPS viking, I installed the contactor on top of the glove box, under the plastics. I installed the plug on the dash lower to the right of the steering wheel.

Yamaha only offers their version of the Warn from them in two sizes, the 3000 and the 3500 - both of which are way better than most other brand winches. The mount from Yamaha also will only work with those two. The Warn's from Yamaha save a lot of labor time too because the wiring is all set up ready for you on the install. What mount did you use?

I just bought a Warn Provantage 3500S winch, but think it probably would have been worth the few extra $$ to get the Yamaha branded version. Looks like I will have to resize some of the cables, etc. And the installation instructions leave a bit to be desired. Does anyone have a copy of the Yamaha winch installation instructions that they would be willing to share?

Hi Doc, I have the winch from Yamaha and would be happy to copy the instructions and send them to you. I won't be able to do that until Saturday as I am away for work right now. If you haven't done your install by then, I'd be happy to send it to you.

If you call up Yamaha Customer service, and talk to there parts/accessories person, they will email you a PDF of install of whatever accessory you want.
