Picked up my new Viking VI a week ago. Special ordered it in Republican Camo, (wanted to make sure it would work).
I'm sure someone has done this style of tire mount before. Here's my version that I whipped up today out of some material I had laying around.
Bolts on the bed rails through the existing holes. My main interest was to not loose the ability to haul and dump fire wood ect. Get the tire up and out of the way and hope I never need it!
It sits just below the rear headrest, doesn't block rear vision at all. I'm rolling on 29-9-14 ITP Ultracross Rs. The spare is a 29-9-14 Bighorn off the front of my Razor that was collecting dust.
